It recently took me a couple months at my job to update an interface with a legal system that was out of date by a few years. I want to say Southwest software needs a complete overhaul but I can't imagine trying it, sounds like an engineering nightmare.

TLDR: Crew scheduling system is 20 years outdated. In event of disruption, can only be changed via phone and manually updated (no app/internet options). And generally understaffed.
