@brianrmcguire is it true that part of Alameda island is technically Oakland? Or am I just making that up? I seem to recall something like this as part of the A’s gondola discussion but I can’t remember. #alamtg

I think solo raids in Scarlet/Violet behave like the ones in Sword/Shield, where the level of the helper npcs is based on the level of your own character rather than the difficulty rating of the raid itself.
When I send a lv 100 character to do a 3 star raid, the npcs sometimes finish it before I can actually do anything

- A product advertised as a "Donut Holster" which clips onto a belt. it's a plastic rod to hold a line of donuts; supposedly it holds half a dozen. pictured is a white dude grasping a donut held by the holster at the side of his hip. Bonus inside! There's a picture of a dude holding a donut hole to a device meant to hold them, much like the donut holster. it is called the "hole holster" (remote)

This is in comparison to putting a static file somewhere on an internal network, where you either don't need auth at all, or can just come up with a simple convention of having a token exported via an env var or something.

Random thought: S3 does not have an HTTP API (anymore).
At work, I needed a way to load config files owned by other teams over the network and asked people to expose them over HTTP. Someone put the file on S3, and it shouldn't be a problem, right? But since buckets are all in a single public namespace, they have to use a complicated, proprietary AWS auth. Which effectively means you have to use a proprietary library. Which means that you can't think of S3 as just another HTTP resource.
