Actually just looked it up and I was wrong: it was a salmon avocado roll… and neither tenkasu nor onions are on the official ingredients list. Hah.

When the Japanese bastardisation of an American bastardisation of a Japanese food is not what you expect (California roll where instead of tenkasu (tempura flakes) they used shaved raw onion)……
