one does not have to agree with every part of their argument, and I do not, to find this a useful piece to read and to seriously think about. we have harsh choices we must make, and refusing to see the need & to make the choices consciously is still just making another set of choices.

I think they are correct, in that it is indeed too late to save everything that is precious. triage is what we are driven to… triage, or an uncontrolled disaster loop.
