Though the people had passed an amendment several years ago for fair maps the legislature ignored that. The Ohio Supreme Court said the map needed to be redrawn. That was ignored.

I was on a mountaintop near the Korean DMZ. I built a gigantic log periodic wire antenna on the side of the mountain pointing towards JP, scavenged up a black & white "portable" TV, and my team & I watched the grainy picture of the landing coming from a Japanese TV station... with Japanese-language commentary. we did not understand the commentary, but the excitement & joy of the TV anchors in JP knew no linguist barriers.
