Game graphics will get even better once developers can set #raytracing as the minimum requirement. Path tracing in Alan Wake 2 looks great, but it inherits some errors from lights pre-baked for an older rendering pipeline.

I hope that because it's just before holiday party season there are still some options out there. Ideally nothing too far out from the city. (ie I can probably get people to meet in Cobble Hill, but probably not Jersey City).

Any suggestions are much appreciated!

Reading the latest thread by Mastodon‘s CTO @renchap made me realize once more how small the team behind all this is and how they really try to listen to feedback and get it right.

It’s incredible what they‘ve achieved. It’s literally David vs Goliath compared to other social media platforms.

We should always keep that in mind when some things are not 100% smooth.
