I refuse to give Apple credit for actually caring about their browser until I stop discovering stuff like how they actually only implemented a half-assed version of `mix-blend-mode` way back in 2014, and Safari STILL doesn't fully support it.
It's been fully implemented in the last 81 versions of Chrome, 30 versions of Edge, and 88 versions of Firefox. But Safari still hasn't gone back and finished what they started almost a full decade ago.
New features are nice, but also: fix what's broken.

Specifically the part that says: " This will be a new view object if possible; otherwise, it will be a copy. Note there is no guarantee of the memory layout (C- or Fortran- contiguous) of the returned array."
Why in the hell would you return a view in some cases but a copy in others? That means mutability semantics aren't a big deal if it copies, but a big no-no if you get a view "for efficiency."
I can see this kind of semantic easily becoming a footgun embedded in a script somewhere. This is hardly something you'd think twice about!

Librarian’s remark after Göteborg Main Library was accidentally left unlocked at Halloween and 400 people wandered in. ‘People sat reading newspapers. There were families in the children's section and people looking books up in the database. 200 books were borrowed and nothing was damaged.’
