Yeah, so, yesterday I wrote a whole-ass VT100 emulator from scratch. I had my reasons.

It's way more complicated than it has any right to be.

Apparently, in developed democracies you can actually use law to fight fascism: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2025/feb/19/jair-bolsonaro-charged-alleged-brazil-coup

Here in the USA we have Merrick Garland who waited 2 (two!) years to even appoint a prosecutor to start looking into the J6 attempted coup. Because, you see, it's "too political"… This entire disaster could have been avoided.

Which is why I no longer believe #Democrats have the right structure to be effective and represent the majority of Americans. We need a new party.

Apparently I cannot type Panic's Mastodon address correctly without three tries. :) (One was the original crosspost from Croissant, which picked the wrong instance entirely but that might be my fault? I don't know.)

A clip from Panic Inc.’s jobs page on Inclusion and Diversity, showing a photo of their gender-inclusive bathroom with a badge in the lower right corner reading “YES!! We still believe in DEI.” The page in part reads, “Today our team (and often our industry) is missing the voices of a lot of people who could make our wonderful apps even better. We want that to change.”
