I declined because I deserve special things that my kids could only get at my house. Knowing how toxic that mom is, and that she would convince that daughter to steal the recipe, I replaced the recipe with a modified version. A month later, my son told me, "Moms aren't as good as yours."

Things paramedics (~$20/hr base pay) and EMTs (~$17/hr base) I work with have done for people this year:
1. Paid for prescriptions so the patient wouldn’t have to call 911 every few days (multiple patients and crews).
2. Paid for rideshares to get people places when they didn’t want an ambulance but needed help.
3. Bought and delivered meals to a patient.
4. Bought clothing for a patient and delivered it to the hospital for them.

And many more I can’t recall right now.
