In raspi-config on Debian 13.6, when I enable the overlay file system it... does not. I found some breadcrumbs here but installing the linked eeprom did not fix it, and anyway that was a year ago and I have rpi-eeprom 28.28-1.

The long-standing gripe stems from the fact that his contractor harassed a mutual customer, and when I pointed out how that was unacceptable, Manton defended the behavior instead of condemning it. And then went on to continue to work with that same contractor, despite further additional examples of bigotry. And then took his name off of the Micro.blog site because it was a bad look.

Reviewing conference talk proposals is wild in the age of LLMs, and exhausting in ways that it never was in the past. Never knowing if what you read was directly from the mind of a human, “touched up” by an LLM, or fabricated whole cloth by a stochastic lying machine.

Low effort proposals in the past were frequently just a couple sentences and nothing else, but now “low effort” can also produce hundreds or thousands of words for reviewers to sift through.

Proposals *about* LLMs take it to the next level. A human (most likely) wouldn’t simultaneously claim that an LLM both “generates boilerplate” and “reduces boilerplate”, but an LLM generated proposal about LLMs will.
