You should treat wildfire smoke with AQI 200+ or so like you would treat a chemical accident—at the very least, do not go outside, do not open windows, wear a N95 mask (or better) and yes I mean wear a mask indoors.

holy shit, i just doubled perf of my benchmark!

this isn't because it got cheaper (it's already bordering on optimal!), it's because the benchmark was adding too much overhead (it was a realistic benchmark rather than synthetic, thus stuff was having to be saved and i wasn't measuring what i was trying to measure!)

i had a rough target of 'under 10ns on this machine'. well i haven't quite gotten there, but i'm under 11 ns, so not too bad.

1. I'm trying to find more artists to follow. I've had a bunch of times when I go "oh cool artist" at someone sharing a pic, only to scroll through their media tab and see that it's just a mishmash of drawings taken without attribution. Let's clear up the confusion beforehand with some good clear communication okay?

2. This makes it easier for me to help you find the artist. I'm actually pretty good at tracking down artists from uncredited pics, even when their signature or watermark has been cropped out by unscrupulous distributors. If you like the artist's work enough to share it, don't you want me to help you find more of it?
