You should treat wildfire smoke with AQI 200+ or so like you would treat a chemical accident—at the very least, do not go outside, do not open windows, wear a N95 mask (or better) and yes I mean wear a mask indoors.
It will permanently injure you and your loved ones to breathe that stuff in.
