I forgot to address one type of person: those who say "don't care so much, if you can, since it makes you sick" — I hear you, and I will ask you this: don't stand in our way when we fix this and don't claim you helped when you just told us to not be so soft.

It's OK to say you went to therapy to help you be more aloof, have other interests & hobbies, but dialectically speaking both can be true: the feelings can be less powerful for you AND you can not stand in our way. Please pick this combo.

Computer users of Mastodon, (aka... all of you) what is your preferred method of mousing?

I'm curious because my current setup involves both an MX Master 2S and an Apple Magic Trackpad 2 in very close proximity to each other.

Another bad line drawing, this time of a currant bun - so a sort of circle with a flat bottom, with black raisins. Written on it is "10A", "5A", and "13A", for it is a current bun.

one of the things i've thought for a while is that it would be nice to have ad hoc product types where instead of defining ADTs/enums for everything, you just select the data structures to consider part of the union.

racket's type system actually does this and after porting some racket to idris yesterday, i've decided it's confusing and i don't like it after all.

I, for one, think it is extremely awesome and high tech that we get AI suggestions to add multiple slightly different, single-use functions defined in place in the same location in every pull request now.

sure yeah why not define getSafeExternalUrl and sanitizeExternalUrl ... twice ... in the ... footer component ... to sanitize constants
