overall sentiment on "is 'AI' good or not"' is very noisy and kind of hard to interpret but more specific signals are not so ambiguous

A screenshot of a Twitch UserVoice thread sorted in descending order of popularity, where the top 3 ideas are: 16,088 votes: Make all AI features optional, and opt-out by default. 1,775 votes: Twitch Stream Teams - Revamp 881 votes: Add a "random small streamer" suggestion to the raid button on dashboard

email from me to lemonade team: I am not aware of any contractual obligation I have to notify you of when i will be using my car. please quote the relevant sections of my contract that require me to give you such notice, or any that might justify the threats of fees made in the email.
lemonade team response: Maya (🧑‍💻) Aug 15, 2026, 00:05 EDT Hi Jonathan, You’re right to question that request. I do not see language in your policy requiring you to tell us when you plan to drive your car, nor does it require the car to be moved at a particular frequency. Providing a return date through the app is an optional way to pause reminders; it is not listed as a contractual duty.
lemonade inc insurance company was flat and bottomed out at $10-15 until october 2024th where it started to jump, and nw it's at ~$50

And it's like, no, we *did*. We demolished it all. Any remains that would imply that the people before us were advanced or smart, erased.

Imagine if Reminders was optimized for ADHD, procrastination, and forgetfulness.

Never lose a task. You’ll always be reminded, with zero shame or judgment.

That's Unforgetful.

Screenshot showing benefits: “Works with Reminders: No import or export needed.” “Just ask Siri, ‘Remind me…’: Works everywhere, on every device.” “Notifications repeat: Missed notifications keep reminding you until each task is completed.” “Smart snooze: Intervals based on each task’s snooze history." “No judgment: Snooze as much as you want. Nothing is overdue.”

Ok AOC... so why the ever living fuck are so many cops making OVER $500k. Pulling in 2x their salary for overtime.

And in Seattle we know MANY of these cops are lying about their hours and the ones who aren't are fucking sleeping in their squad cars on the damned job.

If all of that isn't a sign that these departments are over funded and have low standards I don't know what is.

"Defund the police" is right and smart!

This cop makes more than the San Francisco mayor
The SF mayor makes less than many cops

This is a fascinating study.

I was on the briefing call yesterday and, y'all -- people (especially older women) HATE AI with the personal kind of passion one reserves for the villain who killed your father.

They HATE tech execs. Like, HAAAAATE.
And this sentiment does not change when folks 'get used to' AI. In fact, distrust has increased despite everyone using it.

They absolutely distrust AI boosters. No one believes the hype and an overwhelming majority believe this shit is bad -- because of personal experience of harm or they know someone who has been harmed.

People want AI *punished* they hate it so much. (This is me editorializing.)

And they want someone to wrap some chains around AI before it's too late. #RegulateAI

Duuuuude. Faaascinating.
Full report drops next week.
