I think there are three main issue groups:

* Anti-War: Bigger than "Iran was a strategic mistake" what is the role of the US in the world?
* Datacenters/AI/Economy: What future do we WANT to build. For whom?
* Corruption: Powerful people are stealing from all of us with impunity.

Most of what they do should tie directly in to one of these big issues.

I have no doubt that some of this stuff is great for 10X engineers who code big, complicated systems for a living, but it feels like generative AI just introduces more problems than it solves. It also seems to increasingly rely on a handful of companies who do not produce open code whatsoever, but are more than happy to harvest the commons for profit.

Again, I recommend each designer to have access to some really cheap, badly calibrated screen to ensure the designs are still usable.

I vaguely remember some tech org forcing staff to use poor network a day a week for similar reasons...
