Uh, wow. I recommend reading the Tristan Buckmaster letter directly, the OpenAI side of it is so much more shady than the summaries.

The important thing to understand about any of these interactions is that you are not having a conversation with a reasoning entity; you're just putting your thumb on a scale that weighs words, watching other words rise up in response.
If our language was composed only of I Before E Except After C, and you pressed down on C only to see E rise up, how much awe could you bring yourself to feel? Would you say to yourself, this changes everything?

I say "unfortunately", but I think this is actually okay. This means computers and computer controlled things are only usefully applied to a limited number of problems and may not be the optimal solution in many cases. Just like any other technology! Once you recognize that and identify a situation where a computer is not usefully applied, you can just let it go. You're free to not computer in that case! It's great!

Gay 63yo - London area. Looking for partner.#Datestodon #AFN4FN #Brazil
32yo femby ISO femme-leaning person for hikes, surfing, and furthering the gay agenda.Notes:
- Hashtag codes are to get you into the right themepark, not a ticket to ride any specific rollercoaster.
- Use the description for sexuality, relationship style, preferences, boundaries, and anything else that matters to you.
- Orientation, cis/transness, "YOU" age, and other factors are intentionally not encoded.
- Multiple "ME" or "YOU" categories may be combined when useful, but this will make your tag less searchable.
- Age category applies to both "ME" and "YOU", and is intentionally broad and overlapping. The band is narrower at the low end and widens with each category. O isn't "old" it's just older than A.
- F, N, and M are about presentation and identity, and don't cover all the complexities of gender, but they do provide enough info for *most* folx to tell if you're in their *potential* dating pool.
- Keeping the hashtag code in the listed order and format will make it more searchable and easier for folx to read.
```Update:
- reworded some notes to address questions
- removed (A)ny flag, as it overlapped with (A)dult, and just added complexity.
In some cases, that also means reporting suspects to police before a crime occurs. Anthropic did not respond to the Prospect’s request for comment.”
