I wanted to see what happens if you treat a simple image of the sky with similar post-processing as an astrophoto. So I took an image of the sky, developed it with Darktable, and then ran it through denoising, stretching, etc. in Siril. This is the result. The second image shows the same photo straight out of the camera, before processing.

It's been roughly a year since I started making art again full-time(ish). The main purpose has been to heal my relationship with my work (and art as a whole, to a degree).

I always knew I needed to "make things for myself", but I never internalized what that REALLY meant.

But I think to me it means like, allowing myself to sometimes go into an art piece without any specific expectations. It's not to serve a greater project, or get me attention. I just follow the whimsy wherever it takes me.
