Attempts to question this were dismissed and mocked. Everyone already deep into AI was ecstatic. I eventually realised I was reliving religious trauma. It was terrifying how familiar it all felt. They have a new god called AI, and these believers can actually see their god talk back to them.

Turns out the author of the best known of these frameworks had the exact same issue.
