Lovely milestone in DDA. We lost a little piece of infrastructure a while ago (A little custom webpage that restyles game data files to keep them readable. The web server running it became unavailable.) and contributors have been asking for a replacement for a while.

The replacement turned up today, we wrote it 3 years ago and it got memory holed because the other version was still working at the time and it's existence wasn't documented.

When they made the movie "Heathers," they knew that any youth slang they used in the film would make it sound dated within a few years, so they made up completely new (but entirely, even *weirdly* plausible) youth slang just for the movie. But they did such a good job that we all started saying those things, and then in a few years it sounded dated.

I made the dress about 8 years ago from a rayon fabric and the Washi Dress pattern by Made by Rae.
For the cardigan I used Andi Satterlund's Miette pattern and merino yarn (which is not my favorite fiber 🤷‍♀️).

if you try and squeeze rust into the 'linear types' mindset, then a reference is a way of weakening the 'must use exactly once' requirement (and it's finally discharged by drop insertion if you don't get rid of it).

but the interesting thing is that reference is a global type, meaning any type may be weakened. it doesn't necessarily mean it will be useful to weaken it - utility is dependent on functions being written to take references. but it's always possible.
