Viewing emergency medicine only through the realm of aging, to me, signals an undeserving health care population as well, because many of the people that do utilize emergency help are people who are unhoused, people who are underinsured, people that really have no other way of accessing medical care. For me, it's really signaling, you don't really understand who is coming into emergency departments, right? Emily: Yeah. Yeah, I can see that. And the fact that they're using these structural problems with our health care system, like, therefore we have to look to this kind of solution. It's like, no, actually, we could actually fund health insurance for everybody in the country. There are structural things we could do that would address the problem. But all of that is completely off stage here. It's like, "Look, there's a crisis! So therefore... LLM?"
