If it wasn't clear from a lot of my writing in recent years, I think a lot of the harm inflicted on society comes from the following ideas:
- That social hierarchies are a desirable thing rather than a phantasm caused by looking at socially constructed variables rather than embracing diversity
- That parasocial interactions are worthwhile
- That the convenience of centralization is worth the downsides
