I went on TikTok for the first time in a couple years. Oof. There's an entire industry based on selling people the dream of becoming a content creator. It's actually so sad. People doing follow for follow, paying to boost their posts, buying seminars that "teach" you how to game the algo.
Ironically, no one is talking about the idea of just making quality videos that people want to watch. Instead they're making content about making content, and complaining that it's not working.
