that last downside is a doozie though; thankfully I keep a hard-shell case on my laptop, because I discovered that the combination of "no strap around the laptop" and "zippers that open very wide" means that unless you are VERY careful to only open the main zipper across ONLY the top side of the bag, and NOT across its entire run, your bag will transform into a playground slide for your very expensive laptop, shooting it directly at the floor, angled to hit one of the corners
