literally some dude bought a cobalt 60 source and started flogging the atomic gardening society seeds. they sent them out to anyone who wanted seeds and asked them how they got on.
notice they never compared against non-irradiated plants. you might well think there's a reason for that.
if you hit them hard with radiation (like mr irradiator), then plants do not do so well. almost like they weren't made for that sort of abuse. why you'd think it would make crops better, i have no idea.
