I have just been informed by Dayjob that my position is being eliminated. They aren't punting me out the door immediately, they're at least giving me 60 days' notice, but they are nonetheless punting me out the door.
So joy oh glee, I get to go back on the job market. 😩 And try to find whatever few positions may remain in tech that a) involve as little AI bullshit as possible, b) will let me work remote, and c) are actually willing to hire a worker within shouting distance of 60.
