so neutrino oscillations proved to be real, proving neutrinos a) change flavour b) have mass (albeit not much). meanwhile the sterile neutrino looks like it's not a thing. and neutrinos could still be majorana particles (their own antiparticles). plus a whole pile of other cool stuff.
