nobody engaged with the point that cops can use this to de-anonymize and incriminate you
in your world do journalists never get arrested? is the only form of evidence collected done by cops and not, say, people being hunted by the state? are you really comfortable with having a durable, external piece of metadata associated with your unique phone, location at a particular time, and content of a photo?
