That’s what the Modular Peer Review Working Group set out to explore between January and July 2026. Convened by the Continuous Science Foundation & PREreview, more than 60 researchers, infrastructure builders, publishers, and community members generated practical, testable ideas for integrating peer review across the research lifecycle. Their conviction: researchers benefit most from feedback when it arrives early enough to influence the work.
The groundwork is laid—and the invitation to shape what comes next is open.
