I don't find workplace intervention arguments of the form "if only everyone would do my favorite best practice, everything would be fixed" persuasive, or indeed, full arguments. Regardless of the merit of the best practice!
To me, a successful intervention idea has to answer questions like:
- So why don't they already do the thing you say is so great? Why do its benefits fail to compete?
- Why is your thing going to convince others *now*, when they didn't do it before? What changes now?
