The dishwasher limped along for another year with repairs but finally gave up the ghost early this month. It made it almost 15 years, it was time, haha.
New one cracks itself open when it's finished, instead of waiting for me to notice it and open it to finish drying. This means dishes now take approximately four hours, rather than two to three business days. Sometimes automation is good actually.
