Everyone in tech should should know that they could have replaced "AI" with "React" in this post ~5-7 years ago and gotten a clean dry-run of what we're living through at wider scale. Same failure rates (by any objective metric), same religious fervour, same keep-your-head-down-or-be-fired cult consequences, same shitty mgmt class.
