(This is a subtoot and not a callout because there are aspects of this argument that I do think are kinda valid, and the problems I have with it are not so much false claims or incorrect reasoning as they are facts that are simply selectively elided, and I do not wish to spend a ton of time harassing people who *mostly* agree with me anyway into responding to my very specific critique of their blind spots. But I wish they'd stop saying this.)
