A critical mass of people with an infinitely personalized stream of information about the world is so much broader of a nightmare than the future people imagine with "what if AI takes the jobs." Algorithmic ad markets might be oversold because they still rely on some kind of "unitized" information. There is "a link" in the search results, "an ad break" in the video. But the continuous surface where someone learns to trust some abstract text box absolutely is so much more powerful than that. There is a reason the body of capital is having a seizure for this technology.
