And yet, nothing bums me out more than seeing my work gobbled up as training data for soulless machines to reproduce a dozen hollow facsimiles in hundreds of meaningless requests for more extruded text. To see issues and PRs on my projects to make some change without any attempt or capability of understanding why the project is what it currently is, and how it was shaped over time to get there. To argue with something that doesn’t even know what it’s asking for or why it’s even doing anything at all.
Back to it all feeling pointless once more.
