Noticed in my local pharmacy today that they were having an absolute wall-to-wall, full-court press to get people to take the new flu vaccine. Signage everywhere; the point-of-sale system asked me if I wanted to schedule a flu shot; so did the pharmacist. When I said I’d prefer to get one later, the pharmacist set up a text message reminder for me. Just a real effort from everyone to make sure I knew there’s an updated flu vaccine and convince me to get it. I was impressed.
There’s also an updated COVID vaccine. Absolutely none of the points and people urging me to get the flu vaccine even mentioned it
