I'm also not all that motivated to make everything "family friendly" if I can't be my adult queer self. Everyone wants queer people to be role models for their kids, nobody wants to deal with the messy reality of adulthood. Sorry, I didn't live through Ronald f'ing Reagan so I could live like a Disney character and increase shareholder value.
