Not to defend the state of software development, but the fact that a generative "AI" can eventually be made to spit out an application for somebody isn't proof that all software is built on bullshit busy work or something. It's proof that there are a lot of tutorials, howtos, and apps out there to train on. It's proof that things like stack overflow used to be a useful place for some people to get answers. It's proof human being were generally working together to help each other build things and answer questions. It's not proof of human failure. It's proof of human success.
