Look I love visibility and the appreciation of history but I have yet to see white people engage with slavery or Jim Crow or the Civil Rights movement without it being mis-centered.
It’s all a story about the inevitable outcome of justice in this fair and beautiful country and Black folk become magical negroes in this story of white American’s success.
