Yes, Ubiquiti should do better, clearly they have pervasive input-handling problems throughout their management app, and they need a systemic fix rather than a bunch of little patches. I hope they improve. But the vast majority of consumers are using some bitrotted linux distribution from 2017 on ISP-provided hardware; even the vast majority of enthusiasts are rocking some 5-year-old version of DD-WRT that they're afraid to update because it's not clear if the hardware is still supported.
