Has anyone ever done an ethnography of the "doot dootle doot" onomatopoeia sounds that classical musicians make when they are singing their parts, and whether there are differences across training lineage? Like training lineage x sings "doot dootle doot" but lineage y sings "bum biddle bum". If not, free project idea for ling/ethnomusicology grad students
