@glyph i vouch for the gloves even for people who, like me, pretend they are toughguy immune to dust / allergens / co2 / etc,
any tasks that even just seem dirty, like cleaning the bathroom or yard stuff or picking up trash, i tend to extremely procrastinate about unless i've got the gloves on. then, i'm magically less apprehensive because i am armored and the ick can't hurt me
even though with a mere handwashing it probably wouldn't hurt me regardless
