Defamation is when you when you make a false and harmful statement about someone. If the statement is true, that ain't defamation. It's not defamation if it's inconvenient or a bad look. It's not defamation if it's an uncomfortable truth. It's not defamation if it's aligned with a different perspective. It's only defamation if it's false.
It's OK to have different opinions about AI and its role in art and photography. It's OK to disagree on those topics. But don't waste our time with bogus reports. If you're gonna take other people's work and use AI to spruce it up and call it your own, you need to own that choice and its repercussions. People are going to strongly dislike it. They're going to call it out. And you need to take your lumps.
