A blog post by Geoffrey Huntley on July 24, 2026 displaying a cartoon hero image of a bearded man wearing glasses and a long-sleeved button-down shirt while sitting at a weaving loom, with various flowers scattered underneath the loom and lotus flower patches on the shirt's sleeve and chest. The image looks suspiciously AI-generated despite the title of the post being "engineer away the slop", with tells such as a bizarre looking set of headphones that have no headband and are instead attached to his glasses, inconsistent warp threads on the loom, odd fabric folds, and other strange artifacts mixed into the leaves.
An analysis of the hero image that shows it is, indeed, AI-generated with a 97% likelihood that its fake.
