@ryanc @oscherler @petrillic describing the exact challenges to this process is very difficult because they tend to be ad-hoc where you learn a new, specific, annoying thing about a technology you didn’t realize you were relying on for each problem. but a metaphor may help. running a CA is like holding your arms out at your sides. ridiculously easy for the first minute, lightly challenging for the next 20. but with a CA you rely on there are no breaks; you have to do it for 10 years minimum
