This level of chaos—the Ford deploying for 320 days, the Lincoln coming close to the same with a single, one day port call, the Bahrain sailors and their families being shuttled around like refugees themselves... it's not a good time to be in the service, and recruitment will be extremely depressed for years

If we recover our government, there will have to be a serious reorganization. All the branches are extremely top heavy (if you don't think so, look at the ratios during WW II) and a draw down should start at the top, to match the numbers at the bottom
