there's no ethical consumption under capitalism but it does actually matter if our attitude is "FYIGM" vs. "I know that my consumption causes problems and I consider ways to mitigate it".
I eat meat, I drive a gas-powered car. I am not going to get into it with you about these choices, but _I know they're bad_.
If a vegan with an EV were to be annoyed with me due to CO2e, I wouldn't fire back with 'well, what about STEEL and CONCRETE, huh? do you live in a BUILDING?' I also live in a building!
