Something I keep on thinking about is, if this mass deskilling is happening, how to preserve the knowledge (both tacit and explicit) so we can keep the computers running as the digital asbestos suffocates everything. Wikis documenting good practices, books, tuition, that sort of thing. Is it a worthwhile goal? Is it a useful one? Can I do that while raising money for rent? Do I have that knowledge or am I thoughtlessly guessing as much as the next sloperator? So many questions, so few answers
