I get it. For years you hung out at “Old Joe’s” and it was great. But then the Nazi’s moved in and at some point it got renamed “The Horst Wessel Arms”. You long for the old days, but the /reality/ is that things have changed. To deny that is delusional. You’re reminded of the new reality every night as you stop by for a beer.
So, no, I won’t join you for a drink at Old Joe’s, because Old Joe’s /no longer effing exists/. If you say that to me you’re either trying to fool me or fool yourself.
