It's an important thing to have with you in case of breakdown, or having plenty of time left on your parking and just wanting to sit and look at the sea for a bit.

View through the windscreen of my parked car, with the beach and sea out of focus in the distance under a grey cloudy sky. You can also just about make out the windmills of the offshore wind farm. In the foreground, lying on top of the car dashboard, is a dark green knitted jumper with live sleeve stitches on a circular needle and the current ball of yarn nestled on top. From this angle the jumper looks like mostly stockinette although there's a peek of lace on the in-progress sleeve section.
