Also note that I insist on USB-4; I did not say "USB-C" or "USB-3.2gen2" or some similar nonsense. Both this thunderbolt dock and the one I might someday upgrade to have some peripherals (notably, the ethernet port) which will not be passed through to USB-3 hosts.
